Humility
Humility is a good quality, which helps you not to think that you are better than others. The opposite attitude can be described as being proud, boastful, arrogant etc.
Some people might actually have things to be proud of such as wealth, high education, fame, stunning beauty and so on.
If, however, you could put aside this pride, it might be easier to be humble and you could live your life without much conflict with others. Being a humble person means you are calm, easy-going, you are not fighting about unnecessary things, you are not easily offended and ready to accept good advice from others. You will have a peaceful family life, God will be pleased with you and you will be blessed.
Jesus Christ inspires us to be humble because He Himself lived here on the earth a simple life of humility.
"You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God is opposed to the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you." 1 Peter 5:5-7
"But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6
"Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you." James 4:10
"When pride comes, then comes dishonor; But with the humble there is wisdom." Proverbs 11:2
