We will have a fun time together

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. New Living Translation Rev3:20

One Japanese paraphrased version of the Bible says, “Look, I’m standing at the door and knocking. If someone hears my voice and opens the door for me, I will come in and no matter who that person may be, we will talk together and have a fun time together.

This is what Jesus said and is His promise. Though we may not hear His audible voice, Jesus Christ, who is alive today, is knocking on the door, or on the gate, of the house or the city, called “me”. I cannot see Him with my physical eyes, nor the house called “me” nor the door nor the gate. Therefore I just simply pray, “Jesus, I open the door of the house or the city called “me”. Please come in. I would love to spend a fun time together with You. Please have a meal with me.
